Wish they do proper road surfacing
Come home today, and blow me what a mess
Not a proper jop but one of those tar it and stone it jobbies,
except there’s too many stone chips and none of it is sticking
to the tar.
All the grates clogged so stopping the rain water draining away.
Did another road around our way a year ago, still stones flitting
up and chippin the paint work.
They do naff all about clearing up the loose stuff barmy
Tell me about it
very scary on a bike
yeah a poop ur pants job when you come 'round a corner and see a flood of loose stones lol.
Did the same around here PMM, didn’t use the road ( except with works vehicles ) for about 9 months. I tried complaining to the Council but got no where.
Great for wheel spins though
But yeah, the scratches it leaves in the paintwork isn’t good
Just done a road around here, and I noticed that the road sweepers were hoovering up the excess at night!

At least they have the sense to clear the loose up, now every
road leading off this is full of stone chips, worst thing is when
the big trucks come along because they kick the stones up
and next thing ya know ya have a cracked windscreen and thats
happened to me before.

Had that once … doing 40mph (speed limit) on a very busy road (not been gritted though) … lots of lorries about, suddenly the screen went opaque … no forward view … and as I applied the brakes I remembered the bugger had been pulling to the right lately
