Random thought… If I bring a ps2 with steering wheel and controller and a few games, would we be able to plug it into the projector for silly 2 player racing game action that the whole crowd can point and laugh at?

Yes. Erm, can’t remember if the PS2 have a s-vid output as standard or is that via an external dongle? I’ll have to dig mine out and check. I can bring another wheel if that helps, works with GT3 at least. Pic shows an early attempt by me to get it working…
I’ve not tried the built in speaker in the projector, something with more grunt may be required if sound is wanted.
You’ll need an additional s-video cable, doesn’t come with one as standard, just naf composite. I’m sure Bilko can cover sound :).

Train would probably be a good route, that’s if no-one is going to volunteer to pick you up… hint (disclaimer: no idea who lives around that way).
Ok options would be train or self drive, I think the train would be easier but it could work out expensive, I’ll have a nose see what prices I can find for you
Damnit, could you have picked a worse airport to go to! If you took the train to welshpool you wouldn’t get there until about 9am! :eek:. I’d offer to pick you up from Rugby if you got a train there, but it wouldn’t be until 9:40pm, just a tad later than when I was planning on leaving…

I’ve just been looking, and unfortunately due to being the wrong side of London, its a big haul to get to Reading. I wouldn’t fancy the trip across London myself and I’ve done it many a time !!
The trains to come from Stanstead to Reading are £22,(one-way) and arrives about 9ish. The offer is there to come and I’ll pick up from Reading station. I wont be driving up to Mojo’s till lunch Friday though, Neal and crew might be going earlier ?

I believe there is train station associated with the airport but someone with better
knowledge will hopefully confirm…
