Just curious… Been using Sandboxie for sometime now, yet amazed about how many don’t know or use.
Who here uses it.
I never had any issues yet, but is there something that I don’t know, that is the reason many don’t use it.
Hadn’t even heard of it till you posted Heidi. Don’t know if I’d use it either. What do you use it for?
I mainly use it for new program testing before moving it into the OS. (keeping the system clean)
Sometimes run browser sandboxed when checking unfamiliar sites prevents malicious code. When downloading anything from the browser from a “download file sites”…
Great for online gaming.
Or any program I am just uncomfortable with get ran in a sandbox first.
and have been know to play with viruses in the sandbox a time or two.

I just use a VM on Windows7, easy enough to do shutdown and forget changes 
oh, and it’s easier for me (working in security) to actually let it do the bad stuff :devil: then I can see if my code works to prevent it :chin:
