have you tried the latest boinc build with boinc manager Mojo? I’m only running it on my main desktop (so I can click OK if any errors occur), but seems reliable and you can suspend individual projects which is most handy for situations like seti is having now.
Might be worth investigating for the win boxes (if there are any left :chuckle:)

I’m gobsmacked that these people cannot master a nine pin serial connection to get the UPS to be monitored by the server.

part problem is there no standered the ups companys stick to for there connecters had one APC ups when u used a reg serial conector on it it just auto powered down right after booting 
why i now just buy the usb style UPS’s lot easyer to hook up
