SNOW thats not snow, THIS is snow

Its a bit cold, the drizzle has become snow and things seems to slow down (except RWD BMW’s of course) but snow makes it possible to have a snowball fight with you neighbours.
Even that has risks though, I scooped a good handfull of snow off the Barbecue only to find it contained half a dozen screws in it, must have been fixing something.

But this isn’t proper snow, some hardcore people head for proper snow and race in it, on foot!

No, I’m not about to go all Bear Grylls as a mid-life crisis, I like having a full set of fingers and toes.
It just amazes me what some folk will do for Fun and Frolics

having been to Sweden last November, I can confirm they do seem to enjoy “active” sports

Oh my it was cold …

Now I’m in the NE that’s practically arctic right? My local park this morning. Most of the lake froze over. Proximity to the North Sea (about 250m from where that photo was taken) reduces the severity of snow.

I did buy some shoe spikes because the last time it did snow in December(?) I couldn’t go anywhere because I live on a slight hill so had no grip. If I go down, I’m really going down.
