So, this guy walked into a bar...

For some reason, seeing all the forum categories labeled like Star Wars reminded me of Star Trek, and the first thing I can think of when I think Star Trek is that poor engineer, always worked to the bone and couldn’t make everybody happy… Then it reminds me of me, because I’m a web monkey who feels an insatiable obligation to my comrades on the internet to run communities for them. Today I took a nostalgic trip down memory lane and ran into some distributed computing forums I’ve been a member of since 2001 or so, and I was surprised this wasn’t one of them, because I remember it for some reason. Maybe it’s just the fact that I remember it from when we passed each other in the hallways of Kings of Chaos back in 2004 or so. I started an alliance there called Phoenix Rising, and DoubleTop was like “hey, that’s our line!” and I was like “whoops”

Anyways, I was a distributed computing monkey before I was an admin monkey; probably would have taken my life story to OCN and not bored you all with it, if they hadn’t bit the big one. What’s new and hot these days?

Damn knew I recognized your name from somewhere… Kings of Chaos… thats going back a fair few years… ahh the good old days of click based online games…
