Well the spec is pretty good for a laptop, so you should be able to do just about anything you want with it.

Half to two thirds of that price and you could buy a desktop of similar spec (
(less if you built it yourself). So the question to ask yourself is this: does that performance in a laptop really justify the additonal cost for the benefits that a laptop gives over a tower?
Something of the same spec from Alienware would be about the same price I reckon.
its a reaslistic price for waht you are getting, but as above, a desktop would give you that spec for 900 quid, do you need portability for the price of #600
