Looking at installing this to limit programs on my PC. Or more precisely only a couple.
Everything’s gotta be done in the registry.
I’m assuming it’ll be easiest to set the global CPUThresholdPct to 100%? therefore that would act as a no restriction on all programs. Main sample time will affect the average so turning the MainSampleTime setting to 10 will mean that if anything uses CPU for give the average usage over 10 seconds?
Now settings the exceptions etc is where I seem to slip…
Image name is what appears on the task manager right? As in iexplore.exe? ( :doh: ) it’s called Image name column in task manager…
And should I put the applications applications? meaning applications I don’t want are restricted but everything else is free to hit 100%?
