Genome@Home Report

Well, the integrated Folding/Genome Client hit the streets this week and pretty much transpired to be (yet another) damp squib of an affair. Various reports floating around with strange stories too – varying from the client failing to get more genome units after the first to dog slow and the creation of new Folding Teams by the client after completing a Folding unit with Genome Team details  I think Genome Classic (0.99 to you and me) has a fair bit of life left in it yet, especially considering the lack of –nonet features in the Folding client.

Team Status

Upwards progress has halted again and we are at an all time low in the weekly production stakes – whether this is because of the lack of credit for some units during the past week or so or whether we have begun to lose interest/membership I cannot say – time will tell. We are in the fortunate position that although the production drop takes us down to 18th in the overall weekly production, no team below us is out-producing us – unlike in Folding :frowning:

    Team Units Weekly

Internal Affairs

Right, as usual, starting at the bottom: wnyotiel gets the ball rolling with a double, DarkFog and ConDigital make way as he roars into 33rd, up 3 at 21 is Ciccio squashing the 2000 unit barrier as he rolls past Spike_TPR, Johnnypf and Crabbleboys, woof bounds past madDragon (oh dear stomped in SETI and Genome  ) but remains in 16th because nitrile has pulled out the stops to get past that 5k barrier with madDragon and JUGEARS also falling by the wayside.

That concludes today’s sermon

In the weekly production stakes, big up for ciipher making a welcome appearance in at the top of the table with a solid innings from riddlermarc, andyu unusually low in the rankings after a brief sojourn tidying up his SETI account and a welcome appearance from nitrile

  Name Units

1 ciipher 1597.88
2 riddlermarc 1293.23
3 TPR_Mulda 1147.63
4 andyu 1052.66
5 nitrile 681.12

Daily production is always a different kettle of fish where differing –nonet strategies make themselves a little more apparent, the usual solid outings from riddler, ciipher and Crazydude and nitRAM tagging along for the ride this week.

  Name Units

1 riddlermarc 266.72
2 TPR_Mulda 250.70
3 ciipher 156.39
4 Crazydude 71.09
5 nitRAM 58.62

Milestones

Bit of a quiet week here too :frowning:

andyu…70,000 units
nitrile…5,000 units

And in a desperate attempt to get some interest in Genome, here they are, today’s FHM girls, those Atomic Kittens

Thanks for the report, Mulda.

I have great interest in Genome - unfortunately I will have to leave it a few weeks so the Mrs forgets the electricity bill!

I look forward to re-stomping you as I am sure you will get past me soon!

Thatnks for the report Mulda, and thanks for the puss… kittens

I am still Genoming, albeit as you can see at a lesser pace than before, both my home rigs have died as I have mentioned in the HW forum, I have 2 new mobo’s coming so hopefully, tonight they will be resurrected.
I am still thouroughly pissed off at having ‘lost’ approx 1300 units last week.
My works machines are still chuggin through the units as can be seen from my paltry figure for this week.
My duallie has been my test rig for my home machine problems so has been well down on output, that is why there has been no dump from me this week :frowning:
I shall be back a-dumping next week I guess, should have a decent load
As for folding well it’s very difficult for me to get anything foldingwise as I can’t do it at home due to a lack of 24/7 connection and my works machines are genoming, I may swap one or two over to the cause, I would like to get to 100 units at least
I am guessing that kefkef should be busting to let loose his load soon, it’s been a couple of weeks I guess. I do hope when it’s done you keep a ‘backup’ copy of your units keffers, I’d hate the team to lose out on a skipload

/this Dragon awakes from the deep sleep and wonders whats goinin’ on. Stomped in seti & Gnome hmmm… strecthes wings, prepares to fly, hunting a little doggie called woof:D  :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:
