Genome@Home Report

Upwards progress has halted this week – not through lack of production, but rather because the distance between forthcoming targets is now rather large and for the most part we are now chasing live targets. Sensor calibration shows FreeDC are still in range although they must have picked up our stomping message as they’ve accelerated to attempted escape velocity. Travelling time to this distant foe now lies at around 2 weeks with our current engine capacities, so we are likely to spend a 3rd week in 27th.

Team Status

Unfortunately this week, we have dropped out of the top 15 highest producing teams this week (16th) but there are no teams below us outproducing us (cracking job folks  ). Production is also down by around 2k on normal, but I think a few people have been holding on to the new RMSD proteins (having finally got 1 that worked ;)) because of the stats problem earlier in the week.

Internal Affairs

Ciccio joins our small but perfectly formed team

Right, as usual, starting at the bottom: Ciccio makes his entrance @ 39, while last week’s n00b, Muppet9, gets his first stomp on TPR_Spike to take him into 37th. Chas slips past N2OCapri into 27th and remains in pursuit of atopperuk who keeps the distance as 1 body by stomping Master Mincer for 25th. Spike_TPR makes another big move this week by leapfrogging Johnnypf, Monkeymia, TPR_Kaibigan into a poptastic 20th whilst woof follows through on Monkeymia and TPR_Kaibigan into 21st.

PMMeasures drops mrpants and Crabbleboys on his way to 17th and nitrile gets 1 up on The Artist Always Known As Jugears as he takes up residence at unlucky 13, Speedo edges past goody600 to go Top10 and take up the last movement of the day.

In the weekly production stakes, Alta and andyu continue the weekly swap with andyu taking his turn on top as ciipher makes a welcome appearance in 5th spot…

  Name Units

1 andyu 2851.51
2 Alta_Rica 2616.28
3 riddlermarc 1214.40
4 TPR_Mulda 1132.06
5 ciipher 1052.77

Daily production is always a different kettle of fish where differing –nonet strategies make themselves a little more apparent, but good going on the part of nitRAM and ciipher as they make it into the daily big hitters again.

And here she is, today’s FHM girl, Catherine Zeta Jones

Thanks Mulda!

Does anyone else think she looks really wierd in that photo?

odd shaped (o)(o)

ps I’m past 3000 now and I think KefKef and I are racing to 6000 so it will be -nonet Vs WYSIWYG

I’m running

2 x Cereron 1Gz
1 x Pentium III 1Gz
and in 8 seti units time
1 x 1.4 Athlon DDR

Thanks, Mulda, for another good read

@Mojo - yes, I do think she looks weird in that picture.

I know Scoobie, but I’m trying to keep the Genome milestones in line with the SETI ones since they happen more frequently, so I’m using:

100
250
500
1000
2500
5000
10000

And then increments of 5000 from then on. Same for number of Genes (very awkward to spot :().

Nice read Mulda, as i was off yesterday I missed my weekly :bigdump: but fear not I have just finished and pulled the chain, one of the XP19’s in my dual had done 75 Gene’s in 8 days  so hopefully I have put the :stomp: on crazydude

Yep, I’d refrained from dumping due to the aforementioned probs but things are getting back to normal(ish;)) now… nice report Mulda, sums it all up nicely

Nice report, my genome crunching ability is going to be small these days. I’m working toward a SETI goal, once that’s done some more machines should find their way across.

@Mulda

I’m not complaining I’m bragging!
