Do we have anyone with strengths in this area? a box at work can’t see the san, it can sometimes see the drives but then it can’t mount them.
Any feedback is appreciated.

Problem fixed, Solaris 8, will only accept one fiber card, two were fitted, one failed, it tried to reconfigue the second, renaming the drives, and failed…
now they know that they have sorted it.

It will support two cards, the secret is in the setup and much depends on using EMC/Sun/Veritas in the right way to do the right bit.
Upgrade it to solaris 10, it works much better.
