I have installed and removed sqlite more than once, if the torrentflux package is installed it tries to sonfigure itself and fails, if it’s not I get no failure but I then can’t see if it has actualy installed, just typing sqlite gets a file not found type error.
Looks like an error in the sqlite package as downloaded - I would suggest remove all, install sqlite standalone and then retry torrentflux, but you seem to have already tried that. Dunno what to suggest I see you have already posted up on the torrentflux forums. So, I guess I can’t help much sorry.
ok, looks like a possible solution is to have the actual path to sqlite in the path, now in windows the path is set in the win.ini file, and the executable is an exe file, a simple notepad edit later and it would be added… how do I do it in lunux, and what is the extension for a linux exe file?
well it’s all sorted, the path I needed to reference to get to the second drive was ‘/share/hdd/data/HDD_1_1_1/Downloads/’
I now have a nice web based bit torrent app running on my slug downloading to a usb hard drive. most happy, now if only I could get the rss feed to work properly… LOL
I’m tempted to have a go at this but the lunux bit puts me off… Would love to buy one of those popcorn hour box’s that do everything but getting one is proving a tad hard.
I was put off by the linux thing but it didn’t prove to be too horrible, just fustrating to be put back to square one, I couldn’t even get a directory listing!
Went to a lan with HellonIce the other day and there was a box in the server room that could handle torrents and various other things, ment to find out what it was, looks like one of those.
Scan have the DS-107 in for £120, not to much difference from the Popcorn Hour one. Torrents, NAS and even MySQL/PHP support so you can have dynamic websites!
