:sigh:

Best quote is

“No software is free,” she ranted, “and spreading that misconception is harmful.”

:whiteflag:

That’s just crazy. But as the guy said

Starks retorted by saying that Linux had seen some major developments in recent years and that the money Microsoft invested in the National Education Association meant that the teacher was “just spouting the union line”.

Just about right

Now’s that’s amusing!

YEE HAW Everything migh be bigger in Texas but it ain’t free… apparently - just wondering how many law-suits are being lined up for defamation of character, theft, libel and slander etc, etc, etc. Well after all she said it herself, “use the full measure of the law.”

Putting into detention under false pretences = hostage = kidnap  or should that be :frowning:

Karen appeared to have confused Linux with a type of illegal narcotic: “Mr. Starks, I along with many others tried Linux during college and I assure you, the claims you make are grossly over-stated and hinge on falsehood.”

MWUAHAHAHAHAHAHA,
If it was a drug where did she think it was being hidden on the disk exactly??

judging by the size of most womens gobs (mouths), it wouldnt matter

You’ve heard the expression… “If the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.”

It looks like in this case: “After you load bullets into your gun, everything you see looks like a target.”

It sounds like you have female issues, and it is your mouth that is bloated.

Now as far as the ignorance of this teacher… she now has been educated, thoroughly embarrassed, and computing on Linux. Even bad press can have its benefits, because of the issue many more will be taking a close look at Linux and the outstanding development that has gone into this OS.
Cheers for the silver lining.
