Version 15.2 of Hiren's Boot CD has been released

This is the software equivalent of a Swiss Army Knife… on a bootable cdrom.

Here is the url for the website: http://www.hirensbootcd.org/

You can download the ISO image here: http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/

Burn a few copies and give them to your friends (or Team Members) as cheap but really useful disks.

Go to the bottom of the download page and click on the “See CD Contents” tag. You’ll be amazed at the number of utilities that are there.

Nice find!

Sounds useful, I always like to keep a copy of Trinity Rescue Kit handy for emergencies.

It has bailed me out several times, especially when working from home on a company issued laptop where local admin is suddenly needed

Been using this for ages, started with v6, got a v8/13 & 15.2 in my bag at this moment…

Thanks for the info and the link. It never hurts to have more than one bullet in your gun!

Tom you’re a star

Daughters old laptop died instantly last night due to sudden battery failure, and consequently screwed up the registry hive - meaning no boot due to config being corrupt (etc etc)

Luckily I’d read this post and already taken the time to download the Hiren CD .iso

it worked like a charm mate :tiphat:

Thanks for the positive feedback. I’m glad that it saved you some time.
