I’ve just come across a 1998 ZX9R Kawa for sale with 17000 Km’s on the clock. Asking price is R35 000-00 (3000 quid). Very good deal I think. The bike is imaculate and is silver with black trim, new metzeller battle axe tyres and arrows pipe. Steering damper etc.
Exactly the same as this but in silver.

how’s the chain/sprockets after 17,000 km’s though?
If I remember correctly they were replaced at the 15000 service.
Last bike I had was a Z650 with a 720 factory done yosh kit, andrews cams, yosh pipe, vac slide carbs, harley davidson bone handles, studabacker headlight grill, TZR 250 tail piece. It was a street rat of note. On the back wheel purely from power from 1st to 4th gear.
Nice bike at a nice price, pretty bulletproof, if you’re into bikes you’d be a fool to let such a good deal pass you by
