Well I have departed OcUK

Hope this helps…

But some of the cracking deals recently are seriously much cheaper than OcUK.

Well I shall add Novatech to my favourites list, but it’s damn hard with MicroDirect and Aria on my way home from work!

Good job in leaving OcUK, a bad sign when a manager/owner can’t reward and keep the strenght within a company.

Seriously struggling with OcUK at the moment, i like the fact that they are now offering free delivery to forum members (only taken them 9 years to notice that might make a difference!) which is good, but due to the DDoS attacks at present you just cant get on the website. They have emailed contact details for phone orders, but i like to spend some time researching and reading about items i want to buy (hence the post in the networking forums about a new wireless card). main problem i have with Novatech are that when i have made that decision they don’t seem to stock the item or they want to charge more for delivery than other competitors.

Any chance of a free delivery option? I don’t mind waiting a few days for my stuff personally!

Thanks for that, didnt realise! Guess its me just finding the nova website a little ‘clunky’ and me not bothering to look for stuffs :stuck_out_tongue:

edit - An ‘offers’ page, this week only or whatever would help too imo

Haha, i missed that too! Though over £50 means that smaller peripherals are still more expensive than say Dabs. I was just looking at a USB wireless adapter for £30’ish which was £3.59 delivery from Dabs but would be £5.99 from Nova!

1st -Weekly deals is via a newsletter… http://forum.novatech.co.uk/showthread.php?t=6501

2nd- They are currently looking into free delivery if something is out off stock and you have to wait ((I’m unsure where that stands at present))

3rd - Some of there big offers are via posted via the forums…

Now Gibbo is there the stock line is expanding - but its early days and they are working on various sections at a time - I believe there is also plans to improve the shop front end to make it all a bit easier.

Also… Gibbo is quite happy to help out people source things not necessarily stocked.

Very worth hanging around the forum just for the deals, they were on something can’t remeber what now on one item £150 cheaper than OcUK about £30 cheaper on some WD vilororator{sp?} drives

Things are improving at Novatech in terms of the expanding product range but its a little bit hear a little bit there.

But the best think is… Customer is number #1 and you’ll not have an issue with returns unlike some places.

Cant find where to add myself for a newsletter.

Soo much crap on the front page :frowning: And yes, I’m lazy (but I guess alot of people are similar when asked to change from something familiar!)

Never mind, found it… in one of the many bright boxes slapped all over the landing page :stuck_out_tongue:

I actually agree that its not easy to be found…

Therefore raised it as an issue with them.

For anyone wondering it can be found here…
