"Retailer Matalan is threatening to sue an IT consultancy after spending £20m on an unfinished new computer system that has now been scrapped.

The £20m write-off has hit Matalan’s profits, which fell from £86.3m last year to £36.3m for the financial year ended 31 March 2006."

Sounds like it all comes down to contracts if they have any case at all. The article doesn’t really say a lot…
