Connecting to the net using a wooden box
DT.
I had something similar in the back of my car for years (plastic case) - we called them acoustic couplers - 300 baud start stop protocol - but including a line in jack to take input from a cassette tape recorder to fool terminals that there was a computer on the other end in order to separate line or device failures.
Ah!! The good old days My first modem was a 24k baud rate in the 90s and just would not connect. Can’t remember the make, but it was beige.
Still looks faster than my 3G dongle when the signal is bad
weren’t they all:rolleyes:
