You uninstall and then reinstall ICQ because it’s not saving the message history…
… when all you needed to have done is recheck the “save message history” checkbox that somehow unchecked itself

Ah! I think I’ve been hit by the same thing though since I hardly use ICQ any more I’ve not tried fixing it. Where then option hidden? I just had a look but can’t find it…
