Forums there are still wobbly, but if you’ve got a backlog of work needing to be dumped, there is a workaround posted there.
I guess if you run multiple projects, then you might not want to do the above as it’s just a workaround for this specific project.

I briefly got through and it seems that the information mackerel provided is being pushed by the project. Not stats yet…
The problems are hopefully going to be resolved tonight, however you can get new work via the proxy fix…

Port 8000 is supposed to work for anything on their site, although my luck with it isn’t so great. Apparently their servers are fine, it’s the network thats the issue. Current suspects include some networking issue with their ISP and/or DNS but they’re working on it.

I had a problem this afternoon after network errors when dowloading a new Riesel Sieve application. After this, twelve workunit downloads were started but are stuck in the “Downloading” status, and no other work from other projects could be downloaded until I suspended Riesel Sieve, so the computer was idle.
You can follow this thread on the Riesel Sieve forum for any further information.
Did a restart help? Simple solution but it somtimes works.

Good idea, but I didn’t want to restart with RCN in flight. I resumed RS and the currently active project continued running. There was a persistent http header error downloading the new RS executable, so I aborted all the RS stuff.
The reply on the RS forum points out that I am running an out-of-date Boinc client, so I will update that soon. Let’s see what happens next time.
