Ogame Players Q & A (FAQ)

DeathGameI …darned now sized Moon!!! LOL

1667 lf’s is the maximum useful amount to get a 20%. any more is wqasted, any less reduces it slightly below 20%.

Or 560 LC…

114? BS?

Question: How much engery does it take to research/use or get grav tec?

300000 energy which is a heck of a lot of solar sats.

lol Heck yeah that’s alot!

I should guess like 8000 sats to be sure

depends on the slot, if its a planet you want to keep it is about slot 4 but you will need about 10k sats, if it is a tempo planet then go for slot 1 or 3 1= slightly more power 3 = slighlty more fields, you will need robo lvl 10 nanite lvl 4 and shippy lvl 12 to maximise production, the best way to go about it is to calculate how much you need in crystal and deut and save it all up get wickid lvl nanites and then do it over night, less chance of being caught and crashed, also you will lose millions of pts when they inevitably get blown up (excpet for kefkefs great atuin planet) also u destroy the planet in slot 3 cos it is really small and cant have decent mines u lose millions of pts for nanite lvl 4 and the like so i personally chose to go for it in slot 4 cos i can keep the points for a mint planet after,

hope that essay helped

Did mine on a slot 4 planet with Nanite 4 & Shipyard 14

It took about 8,300 sats @ 1 every 12 seconds

just enter nanite level, temperature into that web site,
also good for the value of colonies
Some help me with this, I remmebre seeign this posted once before. What was it. 1500 Light Fighters for a 20% moon shoot.

But I would like:
800 Light Fighters
200 + small cargos
100 Probes.

I noticed while making the light fighters, I had excess crystal so I made the probes, and I need to be able send the fleet so I started small cargos into the moon shoot fleet as well because they are cheap.
ok lets say i have all this ships.
Who will make the moon shot and how?

so how do I get a new planet instead of a colony? and how do I get rid of a colony?

a colony IS a planet. you can rename the colony planet to anything you want.

to get rid of a colony click onto overview screen, then on the top left corner of the fleet movements list, you will see the planet name, click on that, and a screen ‘Renaming and abandoning planets’ comes up.

you can either type in a new name or click on ‘abandon colony’

ohh…ok. then i’m assuming the lower the slot in the sector the bigger the size of the planet? for instance a planet in slot 1 has say 40 fields and a planet in slot 8 has 100 or so? this is just judging on the size of the colonies and the homeplanet that I have.

slots towards the middle have the most fields. there is a list of Q&A’s in which the average field sizes are given - i think its 7,8 and 9, but dont take that as gospel - its in the forums somewhere.

its roughly a bell-curve for size, the lowest and highest planets are the smallest.

Don’t listen to Walter. Jesus. Slots 3,4,5,6 have the best chance of bigger fields. Particularly 3,4,5.

So people don’t confuse you ‘ecalien’ and your not trawlling a thread looking for something that is not there…

Please look here… http://forums.teamphoenixrising.net/showpost.php?p=273590&postcount=4

Basically its a summary of findings collated and represents the chances of getting a planet within that range.

Please note !! That does not mean you could not get a planet high or lower than those ranges noted but the chances are less likely.

e.g. pos8: average: 150, 60% between 123 and 177 fields

I have had planet sizes of 300+ in a 8 slot but obviously the chances to get that fall below the average chance.

So very much a take your chance but if you want to help you chances 4/5/6 slots are normally well sort after by all players.

ooo wow dang thanks a lot. this game is way too technical by the way >_>
