Stats League Sizes - Your opinions please.

With the steady influx of new members over the past couple of weeks, the current league system is starting to show it’s age and Div 10 is positively creaking at the seams!

The current system is:

Premier League: 25 Members
Div 1 thru 9: 40 members each
Div 10: All the rest.

The problem is that there are now over 120 members in Div 10! :eek:

So, what do you the members want to see happen:
[list=a][li]A restructuring of the number of members per division keeping the numbers of divisons the same (Premier + 1 thru 10), or,[*]More divisions tagged on to the end to sort out the bloated Div 10.[/list].

If you answer a) then please make your suggestion for sizes.

I’d say 25 for premier and 50 members per division thereafter starting a new division when the last reaches 50.

Keeps the premier a special place but also spreads the rest over less divisions .

I know that I’m new here, but in my old team, the different leagues/divisions were based on the number of work units crunched and not just an arbitrary number of people. Perhaps the PL could be those crunching more than 20,000 units, Division 1 between 15,000-19,999, Divsion 2 10,000-14,999 etc.

Just something for you to think about.

26 PL then 40 in the rest, even if it means new divisions.
That way it gives incentive to get promoted.

Premier at 40, same as ever
The rest at 50.

Making the leagues slightly bigger will help a few of those back into the league they were in a week ago :chuckle:

OR

Have a Jedi Council league for the 50K plus (all 9 of them)
and make all other leagues, premier included as 50 slots.

How many of the 120 in Div 10 are inactive accounts with 0 units though?
If we make these accounts ‘non league’ would that ease the pressure?

25 Prem and 50 per Division sounds okay to me :slight_smile:

Can you discount all zero unit accounts from the stats, Milhouse?

My vote is for this idea. The last division is always going to be bloated… Entry is free! :smiley:
