I’d like to admit that the reason that I joined here moons ago was that it was a family type community where people can speak their minds. Whilst I agree that in principle people’s votes are anonymous I cannot see that it is practical there’s over a thousand members are we going to list them all?

Well I don’t think the team is getting stagnant at all. There’s more going on here now than for some while imo. We’re among the top teams in all the major DC projects, have a healthy online gaming section and are widely respected as good guys in many other forums.
I’m going to sit on my hands, abstain from this vote and say please don’t break it. The only time ever seem to fall out is when we try to do things like this.
If its an admin issue or if the key holder has lost respect/trust in any of the existing mods then this is something different.
Actually as you well know the majority in the Temple felt no need for this it was pushed through by those on IRC which I do believe involves you…
i agree with THE BALROG theres new blood joined so we must be doing something right i think if to many bun fight s start alot of the new people will leave again, and that would be a shame

Not that I have anything against either of them being whatever position they want to be in :devil:. It’s just that I don’t see a need for change.
I have voted in the poll, but I would like to add one thing.
All the bickering and infighting is not doing any good for the team image. TPR is portrayed as a friendly community, where all are welcome. This sparadic ‘bun fighting’ will push more people away than entice them in. So for the good of the team just vote on the poll and continue the handbag match elsewhere.

Personally I think this Poll is poorly laid out and it should be removed and taken for a ‘rethink’. Not everyone will agree with the adoption of new SuperMods/Admins, but the option for them to vote that way is missing. There needs to be another option, currently that option is not there.
how about we all just post what we want as long as it hurts no one…liven the place up as we wish by when ever any one is around have a look for jokes and post them into the comedy club. if any one can make this place better its us…its only gone quiet because ppl have been busy or just havent been botherd…so if it happens again…some people should just think of ways to liven it up again.
have compititions or try and make lkinks to fun things…but tbh i dont see how electing new mods can help…like i said…its us that needs to change the place not mods…if u dont agree with me please say so but that is what i think…Andy…

I propose we should have ETHunter and Crystallize as Mods.
After a spell of that maybe we would all be keen to make a considered choice for new mods :chuckle:
Pardon me for not taking this at all seriously but I only come here for entertainment and a bit of Seti. Doesn’t really worry me whos in charge as long as the place keeps on running.
The concept of having just two people in the team who will be responsible for bringing the Team back into the forefront of SETI, BOINC and generally raising the morale of the Team as well as promoting the TPR name in general is in my opinion fatally flawed and contrived.
This is the job of each and everyone of us, its bigger than just one man.
With respect to both worthy candidates, I’m not about to vote for anyone who has that in their manifesto. That’s a full time blue chip PR job. How exactly are they expected to achieve it.
