Ok…going to answer this thread without reading all the relpies or the threads involved…so those that neg rep take this into account…if you dont then dilligaf.
The rep points i see as a way of telling people they’ve posted a good thread, i’ve only ever given good reps…and tbh those are rare…to threads i think make a really good point in which ever subject they’re posted to. I know i’ve been given good rep’s, no idea why tbh and also again dilligaf. If someone has a problem with a post of mine they normally let me know, either by pm, msn, or in thread and i am happy to discuss my views with them. If i get a bad rep from someone who doesn’t/wont bring it to my attention face to face (well you know what i mean) then yet again dilligaf…rep points really mean nothing to me.
Hope you all understand what i mean…vodka tends to make me un-understandable

But as this is a socialising place for me in a way that I meet so many new people yes ok its through posts but thats easier than visiting you all
but calling me a d**k and hiding behind it is something else… thats where I reavaluate my tpr stance…
Maybe some of you didnt know but I failed most of my gcse for reasons not needed to be known… I do try my hardest with grammer and my spelling and totally avoid txt language… as txt was invented to save space on sms to get more into one.
I dont mean to annoy anyone… but you wana call me what you did then tell it to me !! dont hide behind the rep system…
btw I say keep the rep system theres no point in people loosing the massive amounts they had given by admin over something that bothers me…

I can guarantee that if I find someone ‘abusing’ the rep system I will not hesitate in manually adjusting their rep!

This deffenitly isnt the tpr way by the looks of it I will be taking my small crunching efforts elsewhere. I will stay for the ogame and thats about it…

I’ve kept quiet up to this point, but feel I must now step in, Binlala & MC, if you so wish RepPoints can be switched off on your accounts I believe, for the most part they are used sensibly by the forum members and cause no problems. Whilst I also agree the comments posted are out of line those responsible will be spoken too, we all do and say things in the heat of the moment and regret it after. For the most part your membership here is valued, don’t let a silly spat ruin it.
I have been into the user rep database and think I have deleted the offensive comments in question - including one left anonymously by one of the complainants in this thread If there are any outstanding please let me know.
Personally I have spent quite a lot of time on this yesterday and today and did not sleep well last night worrying about this. If people would just pause and think before acting we can get back to normal. Please do not slander groups of people because you have a problem with one or two members

I said before that Admins can see who left rep. feedback - I am informed that so can Mods. If you have specific concerns please take it up with Mods/Admins - it is a large enough team that even if you have a problem with some of us you should be able to find someone you trust.
I do thank you for all the help you have given…but I find it hard to just ask a mod/admin to sort it when I think it was a mod or admin that done it in the first place…

trust is one thing tpr lacks…as I do not trust some of the mod/admin team!

Equally Law’s on data protection also forbid us to reveal who may have given
the Rep.
I’ll shall say all I have to say with this simple comment…
‘Don’t Point fingers’ - Leads to more harm than good, you’ll alienate the
innocent out of a believe you know who is the guilty, tar’ing somebody
unfairly and unjustly and potentially changing other peoples views unfairly
and potentially lose freinds out of false accuastions / beliefs.
I didnt say anything about the rep im meaning more as to the cockyness and total dissresecpt everyone that read that thread knows who it was aimed at!!
you say dont point fingers yet they where mod and it was totally unjustified!!
as such you can see because the thread has been removed !!
Another and imho a better option would be not to read posts that annoy you, may take an extra few mins to read through the forum’s but i’m always willing to sacrivice those few mins in order not to make others unhappy.
Also if someone was deliberatley (sp?) winding me up on a public forum i would either ignore them, or if i felt strongly about what they were doing pm a mod/admin and if the first one i contacted didn’t help try another.
To make myself clear here before i get jumped on, yes i’ve quoted you TFW but what i’ve said applies to everyone on here and any other forum i visit on a regular basis.
/side thought… Maybe a good way to sort this would be for those directly involved in this to get together on msn or whatever along with some mods/admins of their choosing, talk about it, and resolve it in an adult manner.
