As an Admin and Mod for Picard, there’s a fine line you need to tread. As an outsider it looks as that line has been crossed. Be very careful, if you know the history of Picard you know what can happen if this isn’t fixed. Members have to feel that the Admins and Mods will treat ALL members fairly and with respect, if members feel that isn’t happening they’ll leave, in mass!

On the whole, I sincerely believe that the vast majority are treated fairly by the vast majority. As with all communities, however, not everyone will get on with everyone and sometimes clashes of personalities occur and mistakes are made. The measure of a community is how everyone behaves thereafter.
Hopefully the fact that most of the Mod/Admin team are well known to a goodly section of members in Real Life will mean that people will see beyond this situation to what TPR is and could be.
Hey Bin, I’ll give ya a rep point for being a generally good guy, who’s been very active with TPR, and who posts interesting stuff. You might try the thick skin approach. Every day on my commute to work I come across at least one S.O.B. who seems to feel the world exists to facilitate their needs and everyone other than them is somehow there by a willfull act of spite. I’ve received my share of negative “rep points” (at least that’s how I interpret those hand gestures), but I try to just let it go. If they want to bull through life that way, then more power to them; life has a way of getting back at jerks. They take themselves with them everywhere they go.

in my understanding I shouldnt have to read what I had sent to me in the comments…I also shouldnt have to put up with mods doing what one did erlier in the cantina…
thats why my crunching has moved to Digi darkroom…as said before I will stay for ogame and well general reading… but I refuse to crunch for a team with mods that think they are better than me in anyway ! as a person I should feel equal…and I dont !!
Its possible.
However I have a lot more demands on my time that are of greater significance.
I have to sort my belly button fluff collection from date order to colour order at some point, thats after completing the unexpected transition to self employed single parent and completing the enourmous DIY project that will one day become a house once more.
I’ll appear at Mojos sometime and drink beer, anything more than that will be subject to available time, motivation and school holidays.
Well said, I hope this is what happens for TPR’s future.
Why bother being a Mod then if it’s so time consuming and you give such flippant answers ?
