:worm: Well, all I can say is my company thanks the both of you,
as our coal product is in high demand thanks the the power shortages you two have caused
Actaully all mine comes from the largest Nuclear power plant in the USA about 60 miles away, Palo Verde. or some comes from the hydro power of the Colorado River. I think there might be a gas fired plant in Gila Bend as well for peak demand.
And move I shall come the weekend, or maybe sooner if I an get work off my back again. This on-call cycle has been particularly bad. Off that tomorrow noon for a 3 week stint of on-call freedom. :yippee:
PS the conversion worked wonders, didn’t it. Should have kept my mouth shut!
Edit:
today was enlightening with a 5000 point move on ya!
There is a terrible fear in the jungle. Unatural sounds have been heard - like an unstoppable steam train. It is said that they are close enough now to make out their name gleaming in the sun…look, there! Opteron 280, 270 and 165!
Trees are shaking and bushes snap under heavy footsteps while the birds alight sounding their alarm calls. Small furry animals fall silent and scurry for their burrows in fear of the long awaited encounter.
Some of the less timid creatures look on in awe as they feel the earth beneath their feet tremble with the power.
As some of you know, The Major and Nightlord have been running a wee race to 1.5Million on Rosetta.
It looks like it will be a very tight finish in about 17 days. According to latest estimates it seems that the Crusty old Cruncher from the desert will overtake the Flower of Scotland with just just one day to spare.
So, what’s to be done?
Divine intervention?..unlikely.
A series of rolling power cuts across Arizona?..wouldn’t hold my breath.
Mamma laying down the law and turning off a few crunchers?..possible, but not for long me thinks.
